This homemade, easy to make sweet and spiced pecan butter is the best addition to toast, crackers, apple slices, pancakes, you name it! The best fall inspired nut butter you can make at home!

Maple Cinnamon Pecan Butter

  • 16 oz high quality pecans
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

Toast

Serving Suggestion:

Serve with your favorite toasted bread with toppings of your choice! Or pancakes, fresh fruit, etc.

How To:

  1. Bring a large skillet to medium heat. Once heated, add your pecans to toast. Stir the pecans often for 5-6 minutes making sure they do not burn. You will know the pecans are done once they are hot and can smell them toasting.
  2. Remove from heat and place in a high speed blender or food processor. Allow them to cool fully.
  3. Once the pecans are cooled, start processing to break them down, scraping the sides as needed. If your pecans get too hot stop blending and wait until they cool down again. If the pecans are too warm it will cause the oil to split.
  4. Process the pecans until the mixture is smooth and creamy, this may take a while so be patient.
  5. Once smooth, add your maple syrup, cinnamon and sea salt. Blend again until fully combined.
  6. Serve with your favorite toast like I did! Pecan butter can be stored in an airtight jar or container for over 2 weeks.
