1/2 cup maple syrup
2 tsp cinnamon
1 package of vegan puff pastry
1/4 cup non-dairy milk
White decorating frosting
Mini chocolate chips
Serving Suggestion:

How To:
Start by preheating your to the temperature listed on your packaged puff pastry. Then, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and remove your puff pastry from the package to allow time to thaw.
To a small pot add your vegan butter and slice apples. Cook until soft and then add maple syrup and cinnamon.
Cook the apples down until the sauce has thickened and the apples are are soft.
Then. slice your puff pastry into 6 large and long rectangles. 3 of these rectangles are the base to your mummies curve up each side of the sheets to create a barrier. This will keep the apple filling from spilling out.
Using the other 3 sheets, cut into thin strips on the short end, these are your "mummy wraps".
Fill each of the 3 mummy bases with the apple filling, leaving about an inch on each end to avoid the filling spilling out.
Then, layer all of your thin mummy strips on top, leaving a small gap at the top to place eyes later on.
Once mummies are wrapped, place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until puff pastry is golden brown.
Remove from oven once cooked and let cool. Once cooled add your mummy eyes by placing a two small circles of white icing and place mini chocolate chips to the center of the circle to create the eyes. You could also use candy eye balls instead.
Serve warm for breakfast or add vegan ice cream for dessert!
